Bad Brains: All I want to say about bad brains is that they invented punk music and there can be no argument to this topic.

The Clash: The clash never called themselves as a punk band, but as a band that plays whatever they feel like playing. As long as they were in the main scene, not once they called themselves punk. They were named punk by critics and their fans and that’s what made them punk, not their own style. Screw the world. We are Clash and we’re number 1.

Sex Pistols: Never mind the bullocks, here’s the Sex Pistols. This band is the total package. They are the inventors of nihilist punk rock. The Sex Pistols never won any awards, but they didn’t cared about that. Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten were the most famous members of Sex Pistols. People often say that rappers are banned from some states due to the abusive language they use, but Sex Pistols were banned from the entire U.K. Hence they feature in my list of best punk bands of all time.
